Dr. Amintavakoli believes that the excellence in a treatment plan always starts with a correct diagnosis and radiographic diagnosis is one of the main pillars of correct diagnosis. She currently resides Washington with her husband and in her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the evergreen state of Washington.
Dr. Niloufar Amintavakoli
Dr. Niloufar Amintavakoli received her DDS degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran in 2008 and her masters in oral and maxillofacial radiology from the University of Toronto, Canada in 2013. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR), and a fellow member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
She practiced as an Oral and maxillofacial radiologist in Toronto, Canada before joining NYU in 2015. She worked as the Director of Oral Radiology and Clinical Associate Professor at NYU College of Dentistry until 2022. At NYU she was inducted into the Academy of Distinguished Educators and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society (OKU).
Currently she is pursuing Orthodontics at the University of Washington and providing radiology reports through BeamReaders. She has several publications and book chapters and has been active in multiple research projects in different fields related to oral and maxillofacial radiology and cone beam CT scans.
She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR), and a fellow member of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
