As an oral radiologist and educator with years of experience in clinical dental practice, I think like both a dentist and radiologist simultaneously. As a result, I try to address my colleagues' concerns for the sake of their patient's treatment plan. I do my best to make my report tangible and useful by integrating the report in the embedded images instead of only a text-based report, which has been scientifically proven that helps clinicians.
Dr. Masoud Varshosaz
Dr. Masoud Varshosaz (known as Dr. Masoud) graduated with his DDS degree from Shiraz Dental School, Shiraz, Iran in 1992. He earned his Master of Science degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 1995. He was formerly an assistant professor at SBMU Dental School, Tehran, Iran for many years before he moved to Canada in 2009. He has delivered many lectures and continuing education courses and conducted undergraduate and postgraduate theses in oral radiology. He is a main author and co-author of a few of peer-reviewed publications.
Dr. Varshosaz became a certified Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist from the University of Toronto in 2012, and is a Diplomate of the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He is presently a Clinical instructor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry, and works as an oral radiologist at a private radiology clinic. Dr. Varshosaz holds membership in numerous organizations such as the Canadian Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, International Association of the Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, Royal colledge of Canadian Dentist , Ontario Dental association, and is a fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeon of Ontario.
I spend my spare time with my family and friends, watch movies with my kids, and enjoy learning about astronomy which is one of my passions.
