Dr. Lina Albitar
Born and raised in the Midwest, Dr. Albitar received her undergraduate and dental degrees from Marquette University. She practiced general dentistry for over a decade and owned her private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her interest in radiology and technology led her to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, in New York. Additionally, she earned an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Stony Brook with a focus on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to detect unobturated MB2 canals in CBCT images. With her expertise, she is actively involved in research and consulting to integrate AI in clinical workflows and radiology. She is an active member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.
She is honored to be working with exceptional radiologists and a progressive team, like BeamReaders. Besides radiology, her other passion is spending time with her three young children and husband, and traveling.
